FAQ updates via email: first try
I'm trying out a new thing to see if I can get some sort of automated faq email update sent to people who subscribe to the site. Here's the first permutation (if you want to know the technical aspects of this, go the extended entry:
What I did:
phpmyfaq (the faq system that I'm using) has the ability to export the latest answered questions as a valid (I think) rss feed. So I do this (currently manually).
After that I installed Carp which takes RSS feeds and translates it to javascript.
Then I post the carp php call that creates the javascript in movable type (the content management system that everything except for the faq).
Next up is going to be:
fix cron4rss.php so that it works (currently it dies whenever I try to execute it).
I am a broadband cable service tech. Thank you microsoft for thoughtfully keeping your settings, unchanged as they had always been non specific whether using your browser on a pc or the new tv2 from browser 7-8-9etc.It has always been software I can trust. And is easy to set up and make your customer and mine understand the connection setting and how they work.ALWAYS TRUST MICROSOFT.
