MSNTV 2 Keyboard Fix
I just received word from the MSNTV customer care team and they have everything they need in place to help people that are having trouble with their MSN TV 2 keyboards. Please give them a call so they can help you get this fixed!
Could you post the phone # please? I'm trying to be the intermediary between my Dad who actually has the MSNTV2, and MS Tech Support. And I don't have their contact info. TIA :-)
Posted by: DrDan in MA at November 22, 2004 04:41 PMWhy dosen't Tommy post at the msntv2 forum at http://web-nuts.com?
A large number of the new msntv2 owners no longer have webtv service and can not read Tommy's posts at the alt group ngs, but do frequent the web-nuts forum.

Cactus_Jack: I focus mainly on this site because of the FAQ (which Webbies, MSNTV2, and PCs can access). Rather than a forum, the FAQ is a repository of information that will allow people to refer to and find information quickly. I usually don't frequent forums because they require way too much time that I simply don't have.
Posted by: Tommy at November 23, 2004 12:35 PMIf possible, please tell us what solution was developed for the keyboard skip problem. If I call the support #, I may have to spend 25 minutes on hold before speaking to someone. Thanks.
Posted by: Alan at November 24, 2004 08:47 AMThere are two possible issues that affect keyboard performance. One is software related which we can handle by allowing the box to take a special update (the customer service agents know how to do this). The other is a hardware issue that can be identified by the keyboard's serial number (so have that handy when you call).

Can't keep doing that! Very frustrated by their inability to provide accurate information about such a common problem.
