MSN TV 2 Upgrade: 1.2 Release

Wow, have we been busy here at MSN TV. We've started rolling out our latest update to a limited group of users and will be sending the updates to others soon.

Here's the relatively full list of the changes and enhancements made.

A note for you technical types: We've upgraded the underlying OS from Windows CE 42. to 5.0! Anyway, if you're one of the lucky ones who have this release, enjoy! To those still waiting: it's coming to you very soon.

Re: THE NEW MSNTV2 UPGRADE
Good Morning from the islands,

While waiting for my upgrade day by day reading about others receiving their upgrades I finally read something from one of the posters about removing the "auto-update" from the homepage settings and presto... within an hour I recieved my upgrade package which took a sum total of about 2-minutes to process on broadband.

And about the upgrade... I SIMPLY LOVE IT..!

This has got to be the best upgrade during the 4 years I have been with TOB and about 1 year with TNB. The long awaited CC&P expansion of memory allowing me to "ctrl A" entire pages of text is a dream come true for me. It works beautifully...
BRAVO TOMMY & THE MSN TECH CREW..!

Also having the capability to view photos direct from email on the slideshow feature is excellent. Navigation of graphic and content rich websites seems faster than ever.

I've read that theres some glitches others may be having and one of mine is with the bluelight indicator for mail and for some reason even though I set my timeclock for Hawaii I still seem to be getting Alaska time but these for me are minimal issues in comparison to the improvements rendered through this upgrade and I have no doubt that these shortcommings will be negotiated by Tommy and the tech wizards at MSN.

I'm very happy with this upgrade and my optimism for TNB and it's future is at an all-time peak. Thanks to all of you who contribute to this board for your insights, knowledge and encouragement to folks like me. I sincerely appreciate you..!

Now I'm gonna start reading a few google ads on this page as my small way of saying thank you... thank you... thank you...

Aloha and Mahalo from Hawaii,
