hi tommy; yep got the update took all night as it was stuck at 58% for 2 hours. buttons didn`t work was afraid to pull plug,but that got it started again. besides the clock which is really extraneous .since it sits on top of cable box which always has time. only change i see as a dialup is the backround music plays properly now.but the songs are different on classic rock . what else can i do .what else if anything do i have after 2 +hour update meister

Hi Tommy. My wifes tv2 was updated 2 days ago and I have not even received a update e-mail so far. I imagine that the release is spread out, but I am getting much kidding from my wife :~) Any idea of how long this will take?

Yes the release is staggered to keep the bandwidth load optimal for our service. Too many connections taking the update at the same time can really hurt the performance of the rest of the service. Hang in there, I'm sure you'll get the offer soon (let me know if you still don't get it after a week and I'll have someone check into it).

Recieved the new update and noticed the clock is one hour ahead,any way to change it?

Have update..CANNOT use address book ..only 'quick name' appears on address line when trying to send an email..
What can I do...

After the new "upgrade",my media player can only play a couple 10-20 sec clips before it says "page too big". I have to power off,then start all over again. This never happened before the "upgrade". Its quite frustrating.Any help/clues??

Since I just purchased MSNTV 2 this is the only update I have known. I LOVE the photo email feature and lots of other things too. This update is one of the major reasons why I decided NOW to get the MSNTV 2. Too bad it didn't come this way back in Oct `04

I have problems with the upgrade and was hoping you can help me.

Before the upgrade my system was working perfectly and was quite happy with it. I was using a D-Link wireless USB card and a 20GB USB hard drive. Could listen to music and watch videos from the hard drive with no problems.

After the update, if both USB cards are plugged neither works. If I only plug the wireless card, then it works with no problems. If I then connect the USB HD then neither works (wireless stops working). If I only connect the HD it does not work either.

Could you help.... Is there a way of going back to the original version??
