Google Video Fails To Impress
Techdirt has a round up of Google's Video store and it seems to be bombing big time. What? Google launching a dud? How can that be? No one ever said being good at searching for stuff would make you good at selling videos. Let's just hope that Apple doesn't get into the search engine game.
Complaints about the service range from lack of content to a buggy software that simply locks you out of your purchased videos if you can't connect to their service (or if the service down). The blogosphere seems to be catching on to Google's gimmick of releasing seemingly cool/buzzish technology to try an gain mindshare but really do not have much depth (anyone seen Google's copy of MicrosoftGadgets?) to them. Can it be that the little internet company that could is already falling behind?

Google TV coming
As expected, Google is getting into the TV business. They look like they're going to implement a search engine for content and, of course, derive compensation from related advertisements.
