A/V compatiblity: Please be more specific than this (for example, which formats would you like the box to be compatible with?)

Printer functions: There is future work planned around this, but I'm not sure about the specifics.

just responding to your question on files...a real player would be nice and possibly some PAL, NTSC, MIDI...things like that.

Also quicktime if possible...some sites I like use that only(nhra.com)

AVI, RM, MOV FORMATS AND ALSO QUICKTIME, JAVA, AND REAL AUDIO PLAYER...i would like to see these added

How about downloadable printer drivers like a pc does. Why take up all the space storing all the printer drivers just to have a single printer? Just make the printer driver downloadedable. Then drivers could be added as needed.
Maybe even the drivers that work on webtv could then be downloaded so people could use the printers they already own. Microsoft already has the driver code for webtv, why not make it available to the new box.
